Thank you. I am very happy to have done it, and to have it come out as I visualized it.

I wish you could be there too. You’ll just have to enjoy the paintings on the website. Closer to the show, Rob will have all the paintings from the show on the gallery website, so you can get the full experience, although not the crowds and wine!

Wine? Well, damn. I do have wine at home, so I'll be there virtually and can share a toast with you that way. Hugs, Anne.

I’ll post a reminder closer to the date, so you can pour your wine, visit the gallery website and pretend you are at the opening. Maybe have a get together with the girls at your house! It will almost be like you are here!

I believe he would approve of that protruding elbow, yes, as well as the concentration upon the blues and greens in thematic construction. This is a marvelous painting, Anne.

Light and dark. My, I wonder what that has to do with pandas? And with their character? What a puzzlement!😏

It pains me to say that there are some things that have nothing to do with pandas, although if I worked at it a while, I could make a connection, I’m sure. There will be a some panda paintings forthcoming, although they will not be in this show.

Although there is one painting that COULD have pandas hidden in the shrubbery…

Pandas can continue to be a part of your consciousness without having to be an element in your painting I would think. However, a panda in the shrubbery… Shrubbery itself is always ideal…

Thank you. I’m getting excited to see all the paintings framed and together. One of my grad school professors referred to it as the paintings in evening formalware, out for a night on the town.

Love how you capture light. Caravaggio would be proud of you! I have been to the Met to see a Caravaggio exhibit.

I KNEW you would know!

How's your foot doing?

Awww thanks for asking!! I'm making slow but steady improvement- I very recently graduated from crutches and a brace to a super duper boa constrictor sock and walking poles!! Progress!!!!

As I'm sure you remember from your own time with hurt ankle: doing all that art exhibit stuff with only one working leg is ... 🤦‍♀️😖🥴

I'm glad you have 2 legs as you do your exhibit prep. You do have 2 working ankles right??? 🤞🤞
