When I Find Myself in Times of Trouble...
I think I’ve written before about my friends in the Pandashpere who became real life friends. Friends I visit (to see pandas) Friends I visit (to hang out with: hello Panda Sisterhood!) Friends I’ve traveled with (to see pandas). Friends who I can text and say “Who wants to go to Calgary???” (to see pandas)(Panda Sisterhood again!)
One of my friends in the inner circle of DC panda fans has left for the astral plane. I did not know her cancer had returned. From conversations with people who saw her regularly, it sounds like they did not know either, or that her time was so short.
I wish I had something to say beyond Fuck Cancer, that I didn’t already say here. So I will leave you with a few of my ‘toons, written about Judy’s favorite panda, Princess Pinky Bao Bao, born August 23, 2013.
