Time for a little housekeeping

I don’t know…new year, new reign of terror…it seemed like it was time for a new name, some new images, a recommitment to all bears. This will always be a welcoming space to people who are Friendly to Bears.

I don’t know about you all, but I am feeling quite traumatized right now. It started on Election Day, when we discovered that people really aren’t willing to act in the best interests of their neighbors, or even of themselves. It’s been increasing ever since the beginning of F45’s re-entry into public life and his quest to destroy the Constitution and the country many of us call home.

He has apparently outsourced ~~some~~ most of the destruction to his billionaire minion who destroyed Twitter. The Skipping Dipshit has brought the “skill” he unleashed on Twitter, changing it to Xitter (or something like that) to the machinery of government. Right now, it appears some of his machinations have been paused, but how much damage has been done already?

My plan for this post was not to bum us all out. I don’t want to get caught up into all that “I told you so,” stuff, hard as it is to refrain from it. That will not solve anything, and like eating a giant wad of cotton candy, it might be satisfying in the moment, until you start feeling kind of queasy and maybe knocked a $2000 crown off your back teeth.

So here we are…

So let’s head into the future. Let’s be the bear. Let’s welcome all who are Friendly to Bears.
