Is it not enough that the US is about to be panda-less for the first time in the last half century?
Is it not enough that we have to contend with a mad man running for re-election, someone so craven that he insults a General, the retiring Joint Chief of Staff, and calls him a traitor?
Is it not enough that a government shut down would close the zoo, close the museums in DC, put 100s of 1000s of people out of work?
IT IS AN INSULT FAR TOO GREAT, AN ASSAULT ON ONE OF THE FEW JOYS SOME OF OF HAVE AS WE FACE INCREASING ANXIETY EVERY DAY THAT COMPELS US TO WRITE IN SHOUTYCAPS!!!!!

Thank you! You a,ways manage to write what I’m screaming inside!! I’ve had the pandas to watch to get me through this national nightmare and now they’re leaving. I’ll have to “panda on” but right now it seems difficult. At least I have your books and your panda stuffies.
