After FDR, I think Joe Biden has been one of the most consequential presidents of my lifetime. His long history of service to this country provided what we needed at a time when after F45v1.0 had come close to destroying the country through ferkakta executive orders and the mishandling of a pandemic.
When Biden took office, he had to get the Covid-19 vaccination program up and running.
He had to fend off an economic disaster resulting from the pandemic, the deaths, the business failures, and jobs disappearing.
All of this, all the while F45v1.0 was riling up his base, putting sticks in the wheels of progress, doing freelance "diplomacy" with foreign dictators, and generally creating trouble.
If Biden didn't do daily spectacle press conferences like the former guy, it was because there was so much work to be done, he didn't want to take time from his day of actually getting stuff done, for a dog and pony show.
The puritarians, the Biden waS OOOOoollld folks, should thank their lucky stars someone like Biden took on the job of fixing what was broken. Did he look old and tired sometimes? Yes, because he was staying up late at night, jetting back and forth around the globe meeting with other leaders and trying to get them to believe we wouldn’t wreck everything again.
Did he get everything done? Was he perfect? Could he stop all that was wrong in the world? No, but not because he didn't want to or he didn't have the energy. If he could have, he would have.
I don't know and neither do you, all he did late at night, behind the scenes, to convince other world leaders to do what was right, to negotiate with Congress to pass crucial legislation to fix some of what could be fixed.
For every politician who stood in his way, because they were acting on F45's orders, for every voter who stayed home because Biden and Harris weren't the golden magic unicorns you dreamed of, or voted 3rd party or God forbid voted for the malignant clown we now have, who has invited all the worst people to destroy all that is good, you can all go straight to hell.
Yeah, I'm angry.
I hope Biden survives cancer. I know he has the love and support of his family. Don't we owe him the courtesy and yes, gratitude that he chose to put this country over his own health and comfort? Quit digging his grave. Quit trying to defile his memory before he is even gone.
Yeah, I'm angry.

Joe Biden has done a lot for our country whether people realize that or not. It brought tears to my eyes to hear about his cancer diagnosis.
I love Joe Biden. I wish I had the talent and gift of speech that you do, Anne, but I don't. So thanks for saying what you did in defense of our Joe. No one worked harder or loved this country more than he did. By the way, I'm also a Delawarean, so I'm a bit biased.
