Hey did you come into the movie late? Would you shut the door? What’s that? you want me to start over? Just go back to the posts of December 21 and 26, okay? Beary Poppins parts 1 and 2, you can’t miss them. Now, sit down and watch the movie.
Here we go!
And so, Frank and Mikey came to live at the Panda House!
I hope you have enjoyed our Encore Presentation of the Holiday Classic, Beary Poppins! You can see more ‘toons starring Frank and Mikey, along with all the pandas over at The Panda Chronicles. We’ll go back to our regular schedule with one weekly post (usually on Monday) after the turn of the year.
I hope everyone is warm and safe and ready to send the bears in if things get too unruly in Congress.
Again, I want to thank everyone who has subscribed to Finding My Inner Panda. It is my great pleasure to share my panda (and other bears) obsession with a new audience in addition to the panda faithful who have been with me for a while. The last 12 years have been very challenging in any number of ways for me and for many others. There is lots of yelling into the void and I am just one more person yelling. Sharing what I do is at least half the fun of doing it, so thank you for your attention and support. Somehow I have amassed over 100 followers so get out the confetti and balloons!
A quick note:
I just found out that Keema, the 28 year old grizzly bear from Seattle’s Woodland Park Zoo went to the great salmon stream in the sky, where he joins his beloved brother Denali, who died last year. 28 is really old for a grizzly, and the brothers were much loved by the Woodland Park Zoo staff. He is survived by the recently arrived Pookies (Pookie 1 and Pookie 2) who were not available for comment at this time.
This is one of my favorite ‘toons! And the bond between Little Bikkie and Mr. Poppee is just sweet! And I am glad Mommee Mei listened to Bikkie and kept the two grizzlies!
Also think flying Bikkie as part of the kite is hilarious!
Love this!
🐼❤️
First, sending my heartfelt sympathy and hugs to Keema's keepers. They must be so sad.
Second, should an over 70-year-old be worried that she gets emotionally involved in the bear 'toons? I mean, c'mon, you let a wee widdle Bikkie fly off on a kite? What were you thinking?? Certainly not your readers! Anyway, wishing Bob T. and all the gang (and the author) a prosperous 2023, and may all DC hearings be televised!
